The Team
Sitting within the wider HR team, the Employee Experience team is responsible for building and developing a strong workability culture with an engaged and healthy workforce.
We deliver exceptional service and support to our associates and people managers with the aim to increase engagement. We take the lead on ensuring that our end to end employee journey gives our associates and people managers the best experience possible during their career with us.
The Position
The HR Advisor plays a critical role in defining the experience of our associates at all levels. Delivering exceptional service & support to our associates and people managers with the aim to increase efficiency, service and engagement.
Pairing detailed HR knowledge with a service mindset, this role delivers core HR advisory while constantly driving a culture of trust and accountability, process/product improvement; ensuring information is readily available and providing advice & coaching where necessary.
In this role, you will support different associates at different levels with a range of questions ranging from standard to complex, analyze appropriate solutions and escalate problems where necessary. You will do this by managing our People Services Portal, face to face or by phone. You will work with COEs and COCs, IT, and other business areas to gather information, improve processes and resolve issues. As you work through these issues, you will play a key role in documenting new processes to effectively assist our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Act as first point of contact in advising and coaching associates on HR services relevant to key employee life cycle events (onboarding, training, benefits, compensation, vacation, performance management, exit management, wellbeing, core data as well as travel & relocation etc.) and personal lifecycle events (e.g. marriage, having kids, time-off)
Manage, track and solve queries through the system in the given SLA framework
Closely collaborate with other HR teams/CoEs to resolve queries / requests and forward to other HR areas as appropriate (Employee Experience Specialist, CoCs, CoEs)
Stakeholder management in ensuring others are updated on relevant information for their business area such as HR Business Partners, HR Operations and Talent Acquisition
Manage & host onboarding for new hires, liaising with internal stakeholders (e.g. IT / facilities) to provide 5-star service and a compelling experience within the given guidelines and service principles
Collaborate with IT/Facilities/Peoples place for onboarding to ensure a smooth onboarding process and implement improvement where and as needed.
Analyse the request patterns from the associate by collecting and analyzing associate feedback and data and a providing insight to the EE specialist
Conduct exit interviews with employees leaving the company and provide analysis of the results
Participate in projects where needed
Support Manager with Crisis Management when this arises
Voice of the Associate, develop a keen understanding of the voice of our Associates, understanding their needs and ensuring we deliver on these
The Ideal Candidate:
Degree in Human Resources or Business Administration
Minimum 3 years of HR Advisory experience and broad HR expertise
High level of customer orientation / understanding of employee satisfaction
Ability to deal with all levels of seniority within the business
Ability to remain professional and courteous with customers at all times, especially handling difficult situations
Interaction and advisory skills, high degree of empathy
High sense of urgency
Ability to use judgement and out of the box thinking to ensure efficient and sound resolutions/advice
Generalist knowledge on HR processes and guidelines
