AREA52 is a startup team within PVH Europe building a framework for quick experimentation and validation. As part of the Digital Hub we help lay the foundation of becoming a fashion-tech company. We de-risk the process of development and eliminate uncertainties before actual adoption into our business.
What we're looking for
AREA52’s ambition is to become the strongest (digital) innovation team within the fashion industry and we can’t do this without a dedicated Lead Service Designer. Together with the Director of AREA52 you help develop the strategy for the team; ensuring relevant activities are proposed, prioritized and executed. Your role is crucial into becoming a self-reliant team that develops meaningful services and products in the digital domain. Your input on what tools and methods to use is expected and highly valued
By tapping into your user centered mindset, you are able to drive partnering teams forward and push their fixed thinking into new ways with methods like design thinking, lean startup, consumer experience mapping and rapid prototyping. You are an evangelist for these methods, all of which maximize collaboration, shared understanding and trust between teams.
You are passionate about developing user first experiences in the digital world and are a creative solutionist eager to set-up no code experiments. You have a mindset of humility, continuous learning, experimentation, user-centricity and evidence-based decision making to your service design efforts.
Traits that fit this role
A self starter with eye for the essentials;
Extremely familiar with various service design tools and research methods;
Comfortable presenting (or facilitating sessions) to business stakeholders from both design and business perspective;
Open and clear communicator to guide the team and project and inspire stakeholders;
Strong interaction design and prototyping skills; incorporating user findings into the final product, and visualizing the core concept of the product;
Making the team more effective by thinking out-of-the-box ways to test and validate problem solutions;
Identify risks and uncertainties for the validation teams and help mitigate them;
You are curious and embrace failures to learn from them.
