The Position

As VP, APAC Marketing, you hold ultimate accountability for the commercial success of all Tommy Hilfiger marketing activity across APAC. Reporting directly into the regional SVP, the function leads to all marketing work across Retail (inc. Outlet), E-Commerce, and Wholesale (including Pure Player accounts). Alongside commercial peers, the role develops and communicates complete marketing strategies in advance of core sales moments for key wholesale accounts, own-store activations, digital points of sale, and all other commercial channels. It then diligently follows through on execution leading its teams to excellence to always deliver on their promises.

The role oversees a centralized Regional Marketing team out of PVH Asia’s Hong Kong HQ working closely with central Direct-To Consumer leaders for owned & operated E-Commerce, Full Price Retail, and Outlet, as well as the Wholesale leaders in our key markets. Local marketing teams in our four key markets perform country-specific PR, Influencer & Event activations, commercial partnerships, and VIP/loyalty consumer tactics. Extensive travel across APAC is required per quarter to stay connected and involved with local opportunities, challenges, and wholesale priorities.

The VP, APAC Marketing leads teams that are highly tactical and specialized in mid-to-lower funnel marketing activities within DTC and Wholesale business models. All upper funnel ‘halo’ marketing activities are intended to be driven and informed by the position’s Global Marketing counterparts, with which this position has significant regular contact as part of the CMO’s Marketing Leadership Team. As such, success will be defined by the ability to stay closely aligned to global brand direction and express that within the region in way that builds consumer desire, traffic, and conversion. Through this, the role must balance sustainable commercial growth alongside consistent progress in driving positive brand equity trends.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THE JOB:

  • Define, build, and execute full APAC regional marketing strategy across all channels and markets.

  • Take equal responsibility for regional revenue growth as that of commercial teams.

  • Select, track, and communicate commercial and measurable KPI’s and goals.

  • Forecast, own, and manage regional marketing budgets to ensure optimal ROI and cost efficiency.

  • Build trustful and collaborative relationships with DTC and Wholesale commercial leaders.

  • Visit wholesale customers and stores on a regular cadence to update learning and inform decisions.

  • Cascade influence from Global Marketing Teams and adhere to Global Brand Playbook at all times.

  • Oversee local supplier and agency rosters ensuring competitive cost base and service levels.

  • Leading all Operational and People Management of full APAC Marketing organization.

  • Coach and lead through PVH Leadership Behaviors and PVH+ Plan at all times.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

Experience & Education :

  • 15+ years related and demonstrated experience, with minimum 5-7 years at executive level; preferably experience in fashion, Lifestyle FMCG, brand organization with 7 - 8 + years at the Executive Level within a similarly sized business or brand.

  • Understanding of, and ability to communicate the Tommy Hilfiger lifestyle and brand aesthetic.

  • Demonstrated experience/exposure within owned/operated, licensing, JV, distributor and omnichannels business models.

  • A university degree, preferably marketing/communications; advanced degree/master is a plus.

  • Demonstrable success in driving revenue growth through measurable marketing tactics.

  • Broad experience driving both DTC and Wholesale channel marketing models.

  • Full people management accountability of mid-size corporate teams.

  • Deep knowledge of marketing finance, forecasting, budgeting, MROI, KPI and resource planning.

  • Regional exposure with strong business acumen.

  • Professional competency in English and Mandarin.
