PVH Corp. Director, Finance, Wholesale - Tommy Hilfiger in New York, New York
The Director of Finance, Wholesale is responsible for supporting the VP of Finance, Wholesale in identifying business objectives, opportunities and challenges. Prepare reports that summarize and forecast company business activity and financial position in areas of income, expenses, and earnings based on past, present, and expected operations.
Assist VP of Finance, Wholesale in the overall financial analysis, planning, control and compliance
Supervise a Senior Financial Analyst
Month-end and year-end financial closings
Annual budgets and three-year plans
Monthly forecasts for all wholesale divisions
Expense planning and control
Capital expenditure planning and control
Vendor allowances control and analysis
Gross margin analysis
Report and explain variances between actual results and forecasts
Prepare any adhoc reports necessary to analyze the business and/or growth opportunities
Bachelor’s degree in Business Finance or Accounting
MBA or CPA, a plus
5-10 years of prior wholesale accounting experience in the apparel industry or consumer products
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Knowledge of SAP, and Essbase preferred
Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
Project management and team supervisory skills
Responsible for the control of all travel & entertainment expense documentation and compliance
Requires ability to hit internal and external deadlines
Requires ability to handle multiple tasks and projects
Requires ability to handle shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment
Must be flexible to adapt to changing priorities in a fast paced environment
