The Vice President of Advanced Analytics will be the critical thought- and team-leader in the development of a smart, successful, innovative analytics practice that will add meaningful value to the PVH portfolio of brands. This role will define, shape and build the company’s analytical capabilities, approach and work product, lead a multi-location team, and partner across brands, business channels and capability areas. As well, this role will provide essential, experienced leadership to an entrepreneurial team embedded with a complex organization. Success in this role will depend upon a rigorous analytical approach, the ability to be seen as a qualified expert and trusted educator, inspiring and encouraging intellectual curiosity, a creative approach to addressing complex challenges, and the ability to balance clear, strategic thinking with pragmatic, sleeves-rolled-up engagement and action.


  • Lead an brand new analytics team (local and India-based) with an eye to efficient, productive, communal workload management

  • Establish standards & practices ranging from the ongoing development of database/modeling practices, to the development of a team culture encompassing both the on- and off-shore team, project and stakeholder management, and the communication methods back to the business teams

  • Ability to be the analytical thought leader for the team, a thought partner to the SVP Consumer Insights, and active leadership of colleagues charged with growing consumer research and market place insight capabilities

  • Effective communication of analytical findings such that key facts, insights and implications are clear and understood by those without analytics expertise; use of data visualization and other demonstration or description of information are important to all levels, including the most senior levels, of the PVH organization

  • Oversee the vision for PVH’s consumer data technology, partnering closely with IT to ensure actionable implementation

  • Develop and drive data & analytics in such a way as to influence decision-making across various functional areas

  • Actively track team performance and usefulness of insights provided to the business to ensure work if focused on providing value and all are being productive

  • Accountable for both recurring analyses & reports to provide ongoing tracking or progress, and ad-hoc analyses to identify and size new opportunities, and the establishment of interactive reports that can be shared within PVH’s business community.


  • Bachelor's Degree required, Masters in a quantitative field ideal

  • Eight-twelve years prior work experience in a combination of hands-on data analytics as well as analytics design and management

  • Proven track record building an analytics practice, functionality or approach within an organization

  • Proven ability to build common understanding through the use of customer analytics including segmentation/classification, lifetime value, regression, associations rules analysis, text analytics, linear programming, and customer migration

  • Comfortable leading a rapid response model where information or answers are sourced from a database in a timely and thoughtful manner

  • Familiarity with statistical programming languages

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to discuss complex information in an easy-to-understand manner with clear recommendations based on data

  • Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities

  • Motivated, resourceful self-starter

  • Positive, solution-oriented

  • Experience and comfort in numerous coding languages including SQL, R and Python
